CSCS International Manning Ltd KE (here to referred to as CSCS International Manning) respect our candidates’ right to privacy and need for secure communications. Our Privacy Policy has been developed to provide you with an understanding of how we will use any personally identifiable information which you provide to us. Personally identifiable information is information that concerns you, individually, and that would enable someone to contact you. Such personally identifiable information is governed by our Privacy Policy and your use of this web site constitutes your acceptance of our Privacy Policy and the practices it describes. CSCS International Manning has a designated privacy agent to ensures and upholds our privacy policy. Please note that our Privacy Policy governs personally identifiable information provided to us via our website. It does not govern communications that you may have with others which reference our web site or products, such as communications with third-party service providers who use our products.

Authorization for release of information:

In connection with my application for, or employment (including contract for service) with represented cruise lines, I authorize CSCS International Manning and its respective agents to solicit information about my background including, but not limited to, information about my employment, education, consumer credit history, criminal record and general public records history.

I also authorize the procurement of an investigative consumer report. I understand that such an investigative report may contain information about my mode of living, character, and personal reputation, and that I am entitled to be advised of the nature and scope of the investigation requested within a reasonable time after I ask in writing for this information.

I release the company, CSCS International Manning, its respective employees and agents, and all persons and entities providing information or reports about me from any and all liabilities arising out of the release of any such information or reports.

What personal information about candidates does Cast-A-Way.com gather?

Visitors may browse our web site without revealing any personally identifiable information, however, if the individual wished to apply to be a prospective candidate, we do ask for some personal information. NOTE: No bank account details are ever required to be shared when applying with CSCS International Manning.

As we strive to improve our services, we may revise our Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to periodically consult this Privacy Policy. If there are updates, they will be posted to this Privacy page on our web site along with the effective date of the revision. In the event of any significant changes to our Privacy Policy, cscsinternational.co.ke will notify affected candidates by e-mail.

Complaint Policy

Our objective is to provide our clients and candidates with services that meet and exceed their expectations. When our services do not meet your expectations, we would appreciate your feedback.
Procedure to Register a Complaint
Please submit your complaint in writing to our management:

Within two days of receiving your complaint, you will receive an email with the following:
• Acknowledgment of your complaint.
• A copy of this complaints procedure.

CSCS International Manning Agency will investigate your complaint and will do one of the following within 14 days:
• Send you a detailed reply via email, including suggestions or actions taken to resolve your complaint. OR
• Call you to discuss the complaint and possible solutions

Within three days of receiving our response, please reply indicating that you are satisfied with the resolution of the complaint. If we do not receive a reply, we will conclude that you are satisfied with the resolution.

If we do receive a response indicating non-satisfaction, we will submit your complaint to your country’s MLC/Maritime Labor governing body and also send the complaint to the Flagship State’s government of the ship on which you are employed.
We will maintain a record of your complaint along with a description of the steps taken to resolve the complaint.

DISCLAIMER: Please note that it is not our policy to contact every candidate who applies with us. We will only contact those who possess the necessary qualifications and work history that our clients are seeking at the time. Resumes and applications are ordinarily kept for two years. Please also note that a pre-screen or interview with CSCS International Manning is not a guarantee of employment.

Costs Policy

Please see below all costs involved in preparing to head out to sea, and who is responsible for each cost:

Marlins English Test (non-English speaking candidates only):

This is paid for by the crew member and is required by cruise lines.

Police Clearance Certificate/Criminal Background Check:

This is paid for by the crew member unless otherwise specified. Legal translation into English may be required and is paid by crew member.

Pre-Employment Medical:

This may or may not be the responsibility of the crew member, depending on cruise line/concessionary and position. Please refer to received paperwork.

C1/D Visa some positions will also require B1/B2 Visa, if training will be provided on land prior to embarking:

This is paid for by the crew member and will be reimbursed upon producing receipt on board.

Flight from crew member’s home (major gateway only) to port:

This may or may not be the responsibility of the crew member, depending on cruise line/concessionary and position. Please refer to received paperwork.

Pre-embarkation hotel, food, land transfers:

This is paid for by the cruise line/concessionary unless otherwise specified.

Costume/Uniform:

This is provided by the cruise line/concessionary at no cost to the crew member unless otherwise specified. Shoes might be required in specific colors to match uniform and will be at crew member’s cost, if applicable.

Flight from port to crew member’s home (major gateway only):

If full contract is completed, this will be covered by the cruise line/concessionary unless otherwise specified.

 

Acknowledgement Of Crew Vaccine Policy

Some vaccines may be mandatory as per International Maritime Law and for Crew to be able to work onboard and obtain a Fit for Duty Medical Certificate. To name a few: MMR (Triplice Viral), Yellow Fever, Covid-19. Depending on your position, you may be asked also for Hepatitis A and/or B.
The doctors will advise you what is needed.

I acknowledge that most Cruise Lines or Concessions Onboard currently require Crew Members (CMs) to be vaccinated for COVID-19 with an authorized brand by a relevant national or international authority (e.g., the United States Food and Drug Administration, the World Health Organization, etc.), as well as approved by the Employer’s Medical Department.

I acknowledge and agree that if I am offered a job, I will accept and comply with my employer’s vaccination policies.

I acknowledge and agree that if selected, If I have not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19 yet, and if it is still required by the authorities who regulate the cruising industry, I will meet the requirements prior to boarding my assigned vessel.

I understand the employer will reach out to me as soon it determines an assignment can be offered to me if approved by respective authorities.
